Major Papers and Workshops
The list below comprises
the major technical papers that Don has authored or co-authored and
workshops that Don Heirman has given starting in 1973. It is broken
into several segments to show the work that was of particular interest
during certain years. There were several ground breaking papers that
still to this day are cited and of interest to show historical
references of use in conducting research in commercial EMC activity with
a major emphasis on standards in areas of methods of measurement of
emissions, test sites, and application to product compliance. These
papers/workshops were well received and in many cases provided
ground-breaking contributions which have helped determine how such work
has contributed to today’s EMC standards environment.
The search code used in
the four columns below is comprised of two alpha numeric characters,
i.e. the first letter will be either A, B, C or D with the next
character a number followed by a half parenthesis symbol “)”. The
listings are in reverse date order with the first list starting with
publications in the 1970’s. The emphasis is on the early work that may
be more difficult to find but still they are in peer reviewed papers
included in open publications and/or are part of IEEE and other symposia
workshops/tutorial conference proceedings. Most if not all should be
found using typical search engines (Google “Don Heirman” as a first
attempt).
Here are the listings
with the titles and information on where the material can be found
immediately below these lists.
